Energizing unity
There is power in unity.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines unity as the state of being united or joined as a whole. In my own words, unity is belonging to something bigger than yourself. I experience unity at home with my family, at church with my congregation, on the ball field with fellow parents and even at the office with my co-workers. Each and every place is made up of likeminded people helping each other towards the same goal.
Within my home, my spouse and I are working to raise a family of respectable and courageous hard workers. At church, our congregation is working to praise and worship the Lord and bring others to Him. On the ball field, of course us parents want to see the team win, but we also want to be there to support and be proud of our children no matter the outcome. At [INSERT CO-OP NAME], unity is inevitable.
When disaster strikes, we unite. Whether it’s a severe storm, flooding or ice — we’re ready to assist not only our members but also all surrounding co-ops in the Volunteer State and beyond.
When a challenge arises, we unite. Whatever the challenge, we advocate with local, state and national lawmakers for policies that benefit rural communities and the betterment of our members.
When a new possibility comes forward, we unite. Whether that be new opportunities to better our young people or new advancements for our community, we work to maintain and improve brighter futures for all our cooperative.
This type of unity allows [CO-OP NAME] to energize every moment, and we hope you will power us in doing so.
