CFC is pleased to offer complimentary CFC Compass 4.0 training session in conjunction with the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association.
In early 2016, CFC released CFC Compass 4.0, a financial forecasting software package featuring all-new functionality to streamline the process. The latest version has been redeveloped in Microsoft Excel 2013 using Visual Basic for Applications. Preloaded with 10 years of financial data for your system, the latest version means finance professionals can spend less time entering data and more time analyzing it. In this hands-on training, CFC Compass 4.0 developers will demonstrate the new software and its features.
Participants will walk away with:
- The CFC Compass 4.0 model
- An initial financial forecast for their cooperative
- An increased understanding of the CFC Compass software
- An enhanced awareness of advanced functions in Excel 2013
Requirements:
Participants must bring a laptop with access to their USB port, Microsoft Excel 2013, Windows 7 or higher (updated to highest service pack available) and .Net Framework Version 4.5.2 or higher.
Reports Attendees Should Bring to the Training:
Form 7 (12/31/2018), Budget, Capital Budget, Recent Load Forecast and Recent Itemized Long-Term Debt for all lenders except for CFC/NCSC/Farmer Mac (which is preloaded)
Prior to the training, you will receive an email that outlines how to request your coop-specific Compass 4.0 Financial Forecasting Model from CFC and what other information you need to bring with you to the training.
